The Nuoro Ceramic Museum preserves and showcases a collection of over 300 original ceramic artifacts dating from the early 20th  century through the post-war period.

The exhibition is housed in Casa Chironi, a three-story building in Nuoro built at the end of the 19th  century, once owned by the jurist Gian Pietro Chironi. The building has been recently restored and transformed into a museum space for the community.

Inside, the itinerary designed and curated by architect Antonello Cuccu highlights Sardinian ceramic art and 20th century artists through the display of everyday objects such as utensils, plates, jugs, and other functional items. These pieces narrate the tradition of Sardinian ceramics as well as the history of the region.
