Inaugurated on March 5th, 1983, the house where Grazia Deledda was born is located in the historic Santu Predu district of Nuoro.

During the visit, guests can explore the three floors of the residence, marked by a central staircase, and continue through the courtyard and garden. Inside, the museum features a wide range of exhibits, including original manuscripts, letters, photographs, and personal belongings of Grazia Deledda.

Thematic exhibitions offer an in-depth analysis of her novels and the characters that inhabit them, highlighting the Sardinian settings so central in her works.

A room entirely dedicated to the Nobel Prize showcases Deledda’s original diploma and medal. Here, visitors can also listen to a recording of her thank-you speech delivered during the award ceremony.
